I completed my PhD on the evolutionary ecology of seaweeds at The University of New South Wales at the end of 2007. I then took up a postdoctoral position at The University of Queensland in 2008, followed by an Australian Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2010. I joined the School of Biological Sciences at Monash University as a research fellow in 2012, before receiving a Future Fellowship at the end of 2015. I am broadly interested in how selection and evolution shape biological diversity. More specifically, my research focuses on understanding and predicting the evolutionary consequences of environmental change in marine ecosystems.
